  Is dropping a year to attempt NEET again really worth? The answer to this question is not simple “Yes” or “No”. It depends on the situation the individual is in. But we see a lot of students taking this decision just to avoid traveling and study MBBS Abroad. While this is understandable to some extent the student and parent should be aware of the reality. As we see, the cut-off marks are jumping year after year and presently the cut-off for any reservation category is not less than 520.   National Medical Commission has recently announced the following : It may be noted that the erstwhile Medical Council of India had provided a list of foreign Medical Institutions/Universities for MBBS or equivalent course based upon the information received from the Indian Embassy/High Commission of India concerned. It is to clarify that the National Medical Commission does not endorse any list of Foreign Medical Institutions/ Universities for MBBS or equivalent course. The public at large is advised that before taking admission in MBBS or its equivalent course in a university outside India, confirmation of the fee structure, details of the course, etc. should be directly obtained from the University/Institution concerned.
