MBBS in Egypt – Curriculum

The curriculum of MBBS in Egypt is similar to the Indian MBBS system and is in sync with the world MBBS education standard practices. The total duration of the MBBS course is 5 years. After completion of 5 Years of study in Egypt students have to clear FMG/NEXT and then do 1 year of internship in India compulsorily. MBBS in Egypt – Eligibility

For admission in Egypt the students have to fulfill the following criteria:

·         The Indian student should fulfill all the criteria stipulated by MCI for MBBS admission Abroad

·         In addition to the above, students should get more than 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually. It is not enough if they have an overall average of 60%.

MBBS in Egypt - Visa

Unlike other countries, you cannot apply for a student visa at a consulate in your home country. No consulate outside of Egypt is authorized to issue student visas, so you will have to enter Egypt on a tourist visa and then upgrade to a student visa once within the country.

Once you’re in Egypt, you will need to demonstrate the following:

·         You have a confirmed place on a course at a recognized education institution

·         You have sufficient funds in place to support yourself during your studies

·         You have registered with your local police station with seven days of your arrival

·         You have started your student visa application within 30 days of arriving in Egypt
